Southwestern Strata
One of the most popular questions we get is what exactly is a Southwestern Strata?
Short answer -- Amazing!
Long answer -- We take scrambled eggs, sauteed spinach, ham, chorizo, and a house blend of cheeses, then layer it inside puff-pastry dough.
The official full name is Chef Mario's Southwestern Strata.
About 25 years ago, the founder of West Best Foods, Mario Campisi, was approached to create a unique item for the original Sahara Hotel. The collaboration between the executive chef and Mario resulted in this mouthwatering item we still sell today. Item is sold fully frozen, ready to cook and serve when you are!
