Authentic Tamales are available with various fillings, including Seasoned Shredded Beef, Shredded Pork, Shredded Chicken, or Cheese & Jalapeno. They come wrapped in an authentic corn husk, weigh 3.5 ounces each, and are frozen 12 in a bag.
Cooking instructions: Masa (dough) is raw. Please cook thoroughly to at least 165° internal temperature. Place tamales in a steamer, open end up. Bring to full steam. Cook from frozen or thawed for 75 to 85 minutes. Remove from steamer. Let stand 10 minutes.
